Our home at Heathrow Airport is open again
Our home at Heathrow Airport is open again. We're so looking forward to welcoming our mutual customers back to Terminal 3, our dedicated check in area, and our fabulous Upper Class Wing, all open from today.
We’re also excited to share that our fantastic Clubhouse and Revivals lounge at London Heathrow are open again, and we can’t wait to welcome our customers back there too.
There have been a few changes here and there; we can’t open the private security lane right now and some of the amenities in our Clubhouse will remain closed for the time being, but it’s still the fabulous Virgin Atlantic experience our customers know and love.
In the Clubhouse they’ll enjoy complimentary a la carte menus featuring five-star dining, smaller tapas dishes, as well as meats and cheeses from the deli. A wide selection of wine, cocktails and soft drinks are also available to be enjoyed across the many Clubhouse relaxation spaces, such as the Brasserie, or outside, plane spotting on the roof terrace.
In a bid to further increase flexibility, customers now have multiple choices about how they order their food and drinks. To ensure a seamless experience, customers can order from a web-based ordering system via a QR code at their seat. This will feature the whole menu and customers can simply place their order which will be delivered to their seat wherever they are sitting. Customers will still have the option to use a single use printed menu and order via the Clubhouse’s waiter service.
Arriving eligible customers can hit the ground running at our Revivals lounge after an overnight flight. There’s nothing better than a morning pitstop to re-invigorate and re-energise.
Virgin Atlantic destinations including Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Israel and Hong Kong are all classified as “Green” on the Government’s travel list, which means customers are not required to self isolate on their return, and from 19 July UK resident customers who are fully vaccinated and arriving from “Amber” countries will also not need to self-isolate; they will only need to take a pre-departure antigen test before returning to England and a PCR test on or before Day 2.
Delta is operating nonstop services between Heathrow and both Atlanta and New York-JFK, however U.S. entry restrictions for non-essential travellers from the U.K. still apply.
*Hong Kong to be added from 19 July
