Highlights:
- Qatar Airways now accepts IATA EasyPay.
- Qatar Airways does not accept cards issued in the name of the Agent, or in the name of a person permitted to act on behalf of the Agent, or in the name of the Agent`s officer, partner or employee.
- Card approval/authorization from card issuer is mandatory for every card transaction.
- A card transaction is to be refunded only into the same card account and where there was a corresponding originating sale.
- Examples of booking & ticketing violations:
- Excessive churning: Churning refers to the repeated cancellation and rebooking of the same itinerary in the same or different class of service across one or more PNRs or GDS.
- Non-compliance with applicable RBD, fare rules, and sales conditions
- Speculative bookings and blocking of inventory
- Duplicate segments
- O&D violation: Bookings that are not created using the actual O&D availability which the passenger intends to travel. The entire connection must be sold together as an O&D from the passenger’s actual origin to the actual destination.
- POC violation: Creation of segment(s) not in the right booking sequence as per the travel date of the journey that a passenger intends to travel, with the intention to circumvent Qatar Airways inventory to obtain seats in RBD(s) which may have not been available when the same was requested.
- Misuse of deal codes: Improper or unauthorized use of ticketing time limit exemptions. Example: TO-fare booked and TO TTL is inserted in PNR. At time of ticketing, a published fare is issued instead of the TO-fare.
