Atlantic Airways: NEWS - NO 4-DAYS QUARANTINE in FAE (valid from 14MAY) - Direct flights to/from OSL in Summer 2021 - News regarding changes/waivers

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO AGENTS AND TOUR OPERATORS:

From today the Faroese Authorities have eased restrictions and no longer recommend travellers arriving in the Faroe Islands to quarantine for 4 days.

Passengers are still required to be tested upon arrival and pay a Covid-19 fee of 312 DKK. After they have received the negative result, usually the same evening, then they no longer need to quarantine.

  • All passengers must wear a face mask at the airports and onboard the flights at all time
  • Service onboard the flights – soft drinks and snacks for sale


*It is very important that the contact details of the travelers are inserted in the PNR, due to Atlantic Airways will send necessary information directly to the travelers through the systems.
Registration and payment of the Covid19 testing upon arrival are made on Atlantic Airways webpage www.atlanticairways.com and clients will receive information on e-mail or text message. If the whole flights is tested negative for Covid19 upon arrival, then Atlantic Airways will send the information directly to the travelers. Also a reminder for Covid19 testing on the 4th day will be sent.

Change without a change fee - valid until September 30, 2021

Refund options

  • If a flight IS CANCELLED and UN in the reservation then the passenger can get a full refund of the ticket.
  • NO-SHOW tickets can not be refunded. 
  • If flights are cancelled, and clients have been rebooked to alternative flights, and they will not use the alternative, please remember to cancel the unwanted flights, or the client will be NO-SHOW.

Groups

  • Valid for groups confirmed with RC conditions
  • We allow groups to change departure without a change fee if traveling before September 30, 2021; if there is a fare and tax difference, the difference must be collected.

DYNAMIC WAIVER

We have implemented Dynamic Waiver, and you can use the Ticket Changer (FXO) for changes.

The schedule for our routes for Summer 2021. Most routes are available in the GDS and OSL and PMI will also soon be in the GDS.

Current start-up dates for our destinations/routes which have been affected by Covid19*:

  • AAL    June 17 – August 19, 2021
  • KEF    June 18, 2021
  • EDI     July 01, 2021
  • OSL      June 16 – September 29, 2021
  • PMI     Summer 2021
  • BCN    Cancelled for summer
  • CDG     Cancelled troughout 2021

* It is possible that further adjustments to the schedule will be done based on Covid-19 restrictions.

Hilton Garden Inn Faroe Islands – newest hotel in Tórshavn

The newest hotel in Tórshavn is Hilton Garden Inn Faroe Islands. This is the first international chain hotel in the Faroe Islands. At the same time, a new restaurant – Hallartún – opened up at the hotel. The restaurant will focus on French bistro-style cuisine using Faroese ingredients.
