Atlantic Airways information - flight schedule and how to proceed with reservations (updated 21st of August 2020)

We hope you are doing well. Due to Covid19 still affecting the travel and tourism industry, Atlantic Airways is extending the period for changes of tickets. Also the period for mandatory testing of Covid19 is extended at FAE (Vágar Airport).

All passengers arriving in the Faroe Islands have to be tested upon arrival at the airport.

Atlantic Airways guidelines:

All passengers must wear a face mask at the airports and onboard the flights at all time
There will be no service onboard the flights

*It is very important that the contact details of the travelers are inserted in the PNR, due to Atlantic Airways will send necessary information directly to the travelers through the system. I.e. if a whole flight tested negative, then we will send the information directly to the travelers.

Atlantic Airways flight schedule valid until 31st of October 2020
Atlantic Airways will have two daily flights to/From CPH and will also have 2-3 weekly flights to/from BLL
EDI will be operated twice weekly in the period 15OCT-07DEC 2020.
KEF departure in August are now cancelled due to the new quarantine requierments in Iceland. We plan to start flying again to KEF when the quarantine requirements are lifted.

Atlantic Airways will not fly to/from CDG, BCN, PMI, LGW & BGO at least untill Q2 in 2021.

Winter 2020 / Summer 2021 schedule

The schedule for most routes for Winter 2020 and Summer 2021 are now available in the GDS.

All passengers traveling before 31^st of October 2020 can change without a change fee:

Atlantic Airways offers the following to ALL passengers with departure to 31^st of October 2020 (incl.):

Tickets in the period can be rebooked untill 1st of August 2021 with no change fee, but fare difference to be paid.
“Open ticket”/voucher, which is valid 1 year from the last travel date in original ticket. The client can book new ticket to the original amount.

For clients that will not accept the above mentioned options, but client wants refund:

If the departure IS CANCELLED and the client has NOT been rebooked to other flights, then they can have the ticket refunded.

Groups confirmed with RC conditions (valid for groups travelling before 31^st of October 2020)

We allow groups to change departure without a change fee, if there is a price difference, then they have to pay the difference.
Groups that have not been issued and no full payment has been paid can change dates or cancel. The deposit will not be refunded, but groups can postpone this deposit for a new reservation latest in 2021.

We have implementet Dynamic Waiver and you can use the Ticket Changer (FXO) for changes.

Customers allowed to change travel dates with no change fee if travel is latest 31st of October 2020, but fare difference to be paid.

Guidelines to change of destination:
NB: Travel agents and tour operators will be authorized to make changes and manually change the change fee to DKK 0. You have to insert an OS element with this text. i.e. “NO CHANGEFEE DUE CORONA". I.e. “OS RC NO CHANGE FEE DUE CORONA”.
