Lufthansa Group. Important data protection information in multi-passenger PNR

Please note: reservations for individuals who have nothing in common but their destination cannot be made in the same PNR.

This has happened before, for example, when booking a tour operator or tourist brochures, and has led to complaints.

When performing certain operations, such as pre-selection of seats or check-in procedure, passengers can see in PNR personal data of other passengers (contact information, passport data, date of birth, etc.).

This is in breach of the EU's General data protection regulation (GDPR) and could lead to prosecution. Other passengers details are not displayed only in group bookings

Lufthansa. About violation of sequence coupons / flights.

The cost of tickets, flights on which are performed in violation of the sequence, must be recalculated in accordance with the changed route. The exception to this rule are fares with COUPON base fare code.

Please note: due to the different jurisdictions of airlines and (or) countries, each case of violation of the sequence of flights should be considered individually. If you have any further questions about flight disruption, please contact Lufthansa Group Agency Support.

The Lufthansa Group. Compliance with the rules of collection and return of the DC fee, in order to avoid the imposition of fines ADM.

We remind you of the DCC rules that apply to both the sale and return of tickets issued through GDS. The DCC must be collected for every ticket (including group bookings) issued through GDS for Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS and Brussels Airlines. DCC refunds will only be made in the event of a INVOLUNTARY refund of fully unused tickets.
