Lufthansa GROUP. Service charges for unaccompanied children (UMNR)
Your clients often worry when their children travel alone. You can reassure them: tell your parents about the additional service of Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS, thanks to which the child will be constantly under the supervision before, during and after the flight. This extra service is mandatory for children under 12 years of age travelling unaccompanied. Your customers also have the opportunity to book the UM service for teenagers from 12 to 17 years and be calm for their children-especially in case of flight schedule changes.
Please note: for bookings made from 1 October 2019, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS will change the calculation of the cost of transportation of unaccompanied children. Now it depends on the route and zone. The cost of the UM service will still be calculated for each segment and for each child-even in the case of a joint flight of siblings.
