Dear agents!

In addition to message from 23.04, 24.04, 29.04

Please be informed that in the booking system (GDS) canceled automatic pricing of tickets with segments of partner airlines, which reducing the fare / YQ. This measure will allow to protect Your sales and to avoid the surcharges should be imposed on the airline.

The main priority of Gulf Air is Your interests! The airline will not be put on the penalty (ADM) to the tickets issued before the closure of the automatic calculation in the GDS.  All questions regarding the change of such tickets will be considered on an individual basis:

29.04.2019.

Unused tickets containing such segments (not included in the trip and reducing the fare / YQ Gulf Air) must be rewritten according to the fare rules with a fine and additional payment.

Tickets with similar segments issued before April 1, 2019 will be billed for the difference between the fare / YQ of the ticket and the correct fare/YQ

Tickets with similar segments issued after April 1, 2019 will be paid for the difference in fares / YQ ticket and the correct fare/YQ, as well as a fine of 350USD, according to the new policy ADM

24.04.2019

It is strictly prohibited to add to the booking segments of other carriers, which will not be used by passengers, in order to reduce the fare/YQ. This practice violates Agency Debit Memo Policy 

Starting from April 30, 2019, the airline will begin to take measures against agencies that have allowed such issue ticket. The carrier also reserves the right to cancel reservations (PNR) with violations.

23.04.2019

Gulf Air informs about the inadmissibility of adding offline segments of other carriers (not related to the GF route) in order to reduce the tariff/fuel surcharge YQ. Cases of non-use of these segments by passengers are strictly monitored by the head office and may result in action against the agents who allowed this statement. The carrier also reserves the right to cancel such reservations (PNR).
