Dear colleague,

Emirates informs you of the 2% increase in published and confidential economy class fares from Russia from June 14, 2019 due to the continued increase in jet fuel prices. We recommend that you book flights for existing bookings no later than Thursday, June 13, 2019.

The sequence of booking segments for routes with a stopover

We also inform you about the correct order of booking in GDS stopover in Dubai with Emirates. To include in the route stopover, please observe the following order of reservation segments:

1. Check the availability of seats on the entire segment of the through route for the required date without taking into account the stop − from the airport of departure to the final destination, including the second segment with departure from Dubai. For example, from Moscow to Mauritius:

2. Add to the booking the all of the route on which you plan to stopover, as a through route, i.e. Moscow−Mauritius::

3. Add an alternative segment for a scheduled stopover if available in the same booking class (RBD) as the entire segment. For Example, Dubai−Mauritius:

4. Cancel the extra segment. Here: Dubai−Mauritius with departure on June 16.

If you add a stopover in an existing PNR, the same principle applies: you can add an alternative segment and cancel the extra one booked initially as part of the transit route, subject to availability seat in the original RBD.

Thus, for a stopover in Dubai, it is important to always book a through-transit route first, then adding an alternative segment and cancelling the extra one, as shown in the example above, rather than booking a stop segment by segment (for example, just as a combination of flights from Moscow to Dubai and then from Dubai to Mauritius)

We remind you that the violation of the sequence of booking segments can lead to a fine of up to $ 700 from the airline.
