News → Turkish Airlines: REFUND and REBOOKING policy for cancellations flights on Boeing 737 MAX

In connection with the prohibition of operation of Boeing 737 MAX 9 Turkish Airlines informs about the temporary cessation of operation of these boards and asks to be guided by the following rules of involuntary rebooking and refund of tickets from canceled flights. Changes are displayed in bookings and in all GDS.

REBOOKING / REROUTING POLICY:

• ONLY on flights operated by Turkish Airlines flights
• Changes to the date and route without limitation of the flight period can be made without additional charges, regardless of the applicable booking class, but within the service class of the original ticket, but ONLY on flights operated by Turkish Airlines.
• Changes of the route is within the zone of separation IATA DT300.

REFUND POLICY: 

• The Amount a fully unused ticket is refundable without any deductions, additional authorization from the airline is required (FULL REFUND PERMITTED). The refund is made in GDS.
• Refund of partially used ticket is made according to the rules of involuntary refund.      

A prerequisite for making changes or return is to enter information about the reason for the transaction into the ENDORSEMENT
