News → Lufthansa Group. Contact information passenger in PNR from June 1, 2019

New rules of Resolution IATA 830d will come into force on June 1, 2019. These changes require travel agencies to enter passenger contact information in the booking.

This contact information will be shared with the airlines, allowing them to contact the passengers directly in case of possible cancellation and delay of flights and inform them about changes on the flight.

To enter the contact information of the passengers used a standardized format for the SSR CTC developed by IATA.

  • SSR CTCE — for e-mail address
  • SSR CTCM — for mobile phone number
  • SSR CTCR — for "Refuse" (if the passenger does not wish to be notified) - CONTACT INFORMATION REFUSED

Amadeus (1A)

SR CTCE – PETER.SAMPLE//YAHOO.COM

SR CTCM – 49123456789

SR CTCR – REFUSED

Here "49" is the country code for Germany, then comes the full phone number with the region code.

NB: according to the IATA manual, special characters in email formats are entered as follows:

// instead of @,  two dots (..) instead of underscore (_).

Sabre (1S)

3 CTCE A/PETER.MUSTER//YAHOO.COM -1.1

3 CTCM A/49123456789 -1.1

Galileo (1G)

Si.P1/SSR CTCE LH HK1/PETER.SAMPLE//YAHOO.COM

Si.P1/SSR CTCM LH HK1/49123456789

If in booking (PNR) no CTC SSR record in your Austrian Airlines booking, Lufthansa and SWISS will automatically send a reminder to your queue as an SSR item:

PLS PROVIDE CONTACT CTC DATA VIA SSR CTCM OR CTCE.

The contact information specified in the CTC SSR element will be used by Lufthansa Group airlines solely for flight information and will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes
