Dear partners!

We are pleased to inform you that Air Canada allows agents to make a full refund within 24 hours from the time of ticket issuance.

The 24-hour full refund rule applies to tickets:

  • issued in GDS  on ticket stock using Air Canada airline accounting code (AC 014);
  • regardless of the country in which the ticket was issued.

To return the ticket, the agent must:

  1. cancel your reservation (PNR) within 24 hours after booking;
  2. make a RA (Refund Application) request via BSP link;
  3. specify tour code (waiver code): AC24HRRULE.

The time frame is limited to an interval of 24 hours (but no more!) from the date of issue of the ticket.

 

Example of time calculation:

for a ticket issued on may 1 at 9:00, a refund on the "24 hours" can be made until may 2, 9:00.

Air Canada reminds agents that this procedure can only be performed due to a real need.

Any abuse of this rule will be tracked by the airline (for intentional actions, Air Canada will expose ADM).
