News → Icelandair - FI (108). Ticketing policy: connected segments (Married segments)

Icelandair informs about entering politics "connected segments" (Married segments). In accordance with this policy request availability need to end point the destination, without a breakdown into individual segments.

For example, for the Frankfurt-Boston route, a pair of cities FRA-BOS is introduced, without additional requests FRA-KEF, KEF-BOS.

If the reservation segments are United, the indicator appears MSC:

MSC SFP

If you book a route with a stopover, you must use the Long sell format, after checking the dates and flight numbers.

You also need to request a new availability when exchanging a ticket with a stopover (for example, if you want to extend the stop in Reykjavik from 2 to 4 days).

The features of the format for GDS Amadeus can be found in the attachment.

Also, for tickets issued from 27.03.2019, new levels charges for exchange/no-show for the flight (Before/After departure) are applied, the current rules for the application of fares are loaded in the GDS.

For tickets issued before 27.03.2019, FSN does not change.
