We would like to inform You about changes in the structure of fares of JSC "Aeroflot". For sale and transportation from 02.04.2009. a new group of economy class LITE fares is being introduced, which includes only one piece of hand baggage and does not include the free checked baggage allowance.
The list of pilot destinations (direct and transfer routes) where the sale of LITE group fares will be opened from 02.04.2009 with the simultaneous cancellation of Budget group tariffs can be found in the attached file.
In the future, the LITE group will replace the Budget group on other short - and medium-haul routes. The expansion of the route network for the LITE group fares will be announced later.
For passengers who have previously booked tickets for these destinations and want to purchase them at the fare of the Budget group, it is necessary to issue tickets within the terms established by the fare rules, but not later than 01.04.2009.
When passengers with tickets for the Budget group fares purchased before 02.04.2009 apply from 02.04.2009 for voluntary reissuance on the routes where the Budget group will be replaced by the LITE GROUP, as well as those wishing to change the route to the direction with the LITE group fare, if the changes affect the first coupon of a fully unused ticket, it is allowed to exchange with recalculation to the LITE group fares in force on the new date of commencement of carriage, but in compliance with all other rules of application of fares.
We remind you that if the changes do not affect the first coupon of the ticket or the transportation is started (the ticket is partially used), the fares and rules at the time of registration of the original ticket are applied.
Pre-payment of additional checked baggage for all fare groups, including LITE, will be possible at least 24 hours before the departure time of the aircraft through the official website www.aeroflot.ru, mobile application( MP), in own sales offices, branches, representative offices of Aeroflot PJSC, offices of authorized agents performing the functions of own sales offices at airports.
Less than 24 hours before the departure time of the aircraft will be available to pay through the website and MP (provided that the passenger is not yet registered), as well as at the box office at the airport.
Pre-payment for 24h, as well as payment on the day of departure via the website and MP will be made at a reduced fare. Details of the cost of additional baggage will be available on the official website www.aeroflot.ru after 01.04.2009.
The possibility of registration of payment of baggage will be available to agents working in the GDS, after the activation of the relevant functional EMD-A.
