Cases of receiving ADM from British Airways by agents for the wrong combination of tariffs and route construction in order to reduce the cost of the flight have become more frequent.

For example,

• First class booking on departure and economy class on return.
• Route type - RT.
• The first class (BA117 F) is used as a route - OW.
• Economy class (BA178 Q) is not used in the future.

BA 117 F 20MAY 1 LHRJFK HK1 

BA 178 Q 31MAY 5 JFKLHR HK1

Regardless you cancel a return flight segment in PNR or not, the ADM reaches the amount of the surcharge between the applicable RT fare and the used OW fare that should have been used for such a  route / flight.

Please refrain from such combinations to avoid ADM
